During the period 22\u201325 September 2025, at the crossroads of scientific computing and environmental innovation, the Romanian Hub for Artificial Intelligence (HRIA) hosted the thematic workshop WSAI \u2013 Remote Sensing, Computer Vision, and AI for a Sustainable Future during the 2025 edition of the international symposium SYNASC \u2013 Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The workshop brought together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to explore how artificial intelligence, smart systems, and advanced computational methods can be applied to remote sensing and computer vision for sustainability-driven solutions. Key focus areas included:<\/p>\n
