On February 17, the Romanian Artificial Intelligence Hub (HRIA) was honored to participate in the Third Joint Committee on Romania\u2013Japan Cooperation in Science and Technology, held at the Horia Hulubei National Institute for R&D in Physics and Nuclear Engineering (IFIN-HH).<\/p>\n

Prof. Adina Florea<\/strong>, Director of the Romanian Artificial Intelligence Hub, contributed to the session dedicated to strategic cooperation areas, presenting Romania\u2019s vision and capabilities in Artificial Intelligence<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

During the session on potential STI cooperation areas, the agenda highlighted that \u201cthe scientific Romanian community has demonstrated along generations talent and innovation for IT applications, with a huge potential to be further developed together with Japanese partners.\u201d This perspective aligns directly with HRIA\u2019s mission to strengthen Romania\u2019s AI ecosystem and foster international collaboration.<\/p>\n

The meeting also marked an important milestone: the Signing Ceremony of the Romania\u2013Japan Cooperation Memorandum in Science and Technology<\/strong>, opening new opportunities for joint initiatives, technology development, and knowledge exchange between the two countries.<\/p>\n
