On June 8, 2026, the UVT – ExplainableAI Reading Group meeting took place.
The focus of this edition was Explainable by Design: Fusing Fuzzy Logic and Knowledge Graphs for Transparent Student Modeling.
The special guest was Prof. Dr. Christos Troussas from the University of West Attica, Athens, Greece. This framework addresses the “black box” dilemma in the field of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIEd). It transforms the role of AI-based tutoring systems, shifting from merely monitoring student knowledge to clearly explaining the reasons behind the educational decisions made by the system.
