On September 9, 2026, at HRIA, we had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Sei ichi Tsujimura from the School of Design and Architecture and Prof. Satoshi Oyama from the Graduate School of Data Science, Nagoya City University, Japan. Their visit was coordinated at HRIA by Prof. dr. ing. Adina Florea and Prof. dr. Irina Mocanu.

The meeting offered a meaningful context for connecting researchers whose work spans complementary domains—design, architecture, data science, Artificial Intelligence, and multimedia technologies. Conversations centered on shared scientific interests, current research activities, and possible avenues for developing new academic collaborations and joint initiatives.
Beyond the exchange of expertise, the visit opened a space for examining how the strengths of our respective teams could be aligned to support future interdisciplinary projects, collaborative research, and sustained knowledge transfer between institutions.

We hold the view that the encounter of different cultural and academic traditions enriches scientific cooperation and adds depth to internationalization efforts.

Through engagements of this kind, we are pleased to expand HRIA’s international network and to cultivate new opportunities for collaboration, research, and innovation.

We look forward to continuing this dialogue and to the ideas and initiatives that may emerge from it.
