At the #B2Com | Strategic Technologies for the Future Economy event, organized by the Măgurele Science Park Association, the Romanian Hub for Artificial Intelligence (HRIA) was represented by Prof. dr. ing. Adina Magda Florea, Director of the HRIA project and professor at UNSTPB.

Prof. Florea delivered a compelling presentation on connecting advanced AI research with the business environment, research infrastructures, and the development of AI applications with real economic and societal impact. Her contribution highlighted HRIA’s mission to bridge scientific excellence with industry needs, accelerating the transfer of AI technologies into practical, scalable solutions.

Held on 7 October 2026, at BT Stup, Bucharest, #B2Com brought together leaders from business, research, technology, startups, industry, and investment to explore how strategic technologies can be transformed into competitive products, market opportunities, and collaborative partnerships.

The event emphasized a powerful trajectory: Technology → Application → Market → Partnership → Impact, showcasing how innovation becomes valuable when it reaches real-world use.

Through sessions dedicated to AI, photonics, robotics, cybersecurity, micro- and nanotechnologies, and technology transfer, #B2Com created a dynamic space for dialogue between those who develop technology and those who can validate, fund, scale, and commercialize it.

HRIA’s presence reinforced the importance of integrating AI research with Romania’s innovation ecosystem and demonstrated how collaborative infrastructures can accelerate the development of responsible, high‑impact AI solutions.

We remain committed to strengthening the connection between research and industry and to contributing to Romania’s strategic technological advancement.
