Workshop HRIA ``AI Based Robotics and Control``
On June 19, 2026, the workshop was organized as part of the “Romanian Artificial Intelligence Hub” project, aligned with the research theme concerning artificial intelligence applications in medicine and healthcare.
Through this workshop, the HRIA team aimed to:
- provide a framework for communication and direct discussion regarding recent results obtained by HRIA research teams;
- facilitate a structured exchange of ideas—both among project partners and with medical specialists—aimed at identifying shared challenges;
- enable the strengthening of existing collaborations and the identification of new collaborative opportunities with potential users of the services developed within the project.
Themes:
- Explainable artificial intelligence for the analysis of medical data, signals, and images, with applications in computer-aided diagnosis.
- Natural language processing techniques for handling medical records, interpreting multimodal medical data, designing conversational assistants, and facilitating patient-physician communication.
- Intelligent systems for monitoring physiological parameters and controlling neuromotor rehabilitation processes.
- Artificial intelligence and robotics with applications in general surgery and oral surgery.
- Machine learning techniques for the analysis of biomedical data, images, and signals, including epidemiological and “omics” data (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, etc.).
Target group:
The event was aimed at researchers, academic staff, doctoral students, and healthcare professionals interested in the applications of artificial intelligence in medicine.
